Every year I have been in Germany we have had single soldiers over for Christmas. I can’t afford to buy the guys all gifts and I would love for them to be able to open gifts this year. We usually have 4-5 of them over. And they range from 18-24. If anyone can donate clothes or anything to have them open gifts I know it would make there day that much better. It’s already hard enough for them to be away from family, but most of them never get Christmas packages that adds to it.

Hi there. First off I wanted to say thank you for posting this! It is so very nice to know that there are people out there who support and care for our troops. I am married to an amazing Marine and have been lucky enough to welcome him home from 4 combat tours and am blessed to have him home for the holidays this year. After 6 deployments we understand that actually having your spouse with you at Christmas is a gift in itself! Because of his deployment schedule we will not have another Christmas together until 2014. :( This year has been extremely hard for us as I have just had my 8th surgery in the last 8 months. Financially it has destroyed a lot for us but we still feel blessed to all be together. If there is someone who is interested in putting some smiles on my 2 little girls faces for Christmas we could be greatly appreciative. If not we completely understand and just want to thank everyone involved for reaching out and helping our troops. Happy Holidays to you all!

My family and I are in need of Christmas assistance. My husband is currently deployed and not scheduled to return home until July 2012. This is the very first time Daddy won’t be home for the holidays. I have two wonderful kids, 4 & 9, who have stepped and taken on more responsibilty since Daddy has left. I just want them to have a very merry Christmas and boost their morale. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    God Bless America!

I also want to start off by saying thank you to everyone that helps us military families in times of need. My wife and I thought we would be good this Christmas, but after we PCS to our new duty station, everything has got real hard. We have already struggled getting our kids school clothes this year and I just don’t see any gifts under the tree without any help. I dont’ even want to put our tree up yet, just because I don’t want to hear my boys ask daddy where are the presents. I have researched and tryed a bunch of places, but most places already have to many families asking for help. I have 3 boys, an 8 year old and 4 year old twins. My wife hasn’t been able to go back to work becaause she has so many medical appts with one of the twins having cerebal paulsy and her back problems from taking care of him. So we still don’t have that second income that we need. I would just like to see a couple of presents for my boys from Santa. My wife has lost all her parents and grandparents and the only one I have is my mother, so we ca’t get any help there. Thank You for reading and God bless.

Hello Jeffery! Have u received some assistance yet to help your boys have a christmas this year? If not, I could help you out with a few things. I’m a 28 year old single woman but as I was just goin to buy presents for my own nephews and niece, I got to thinking that they have more toys and things than they would ever need. I would love to help your family have a better holiday, even if its not a lot…if u need something just shoot me and email. And I will let u know if its possible. Not sure where u are located…I live in chicago. Email me and god bless! Natalie-miller@ hotmail.com

Hello I am looking for help this Christmas for my family. We have had a rough year. We are a family of five and trying to get on our feet. We moved into my wife’s parents basement to try and get a head start. Her father has since been diagnosed with cancer and we find ourselves with less and less money as he (now being un-able to work) is running out of money. We have been trying to fill in financially where they are not able. Which does not leave is with a lot left over. It has not gone as hoped and I am scared I won’t be able to give my family the Christmas they need. I am not an active duty military member but in the national guard. All the troops here in Minnesota are glad to be back home this year. We just far home several months ago. We don’t need a lot cause my kids are 4, 5, & 6. They will be happy with what they get but getting it is a problem. If there is anyone that could help I would be very greatfull.

Hello my name is Arresha I am the wife of a active duty soldier. We have 4 beautiful children 3 girls and 1 boy of which he was adopted by us. He is my nephew and we took him after his father was murdered back in nov 2008 and his mother gave up on so we took him in and adopted him making him one of our own. He has been through alot as a child and since he was 3 had a host of problems from being diagnosed with ptsd, adhd, anxiety, dislexia. With my husband the only one working it makes it hard to provide and with me being unable to work due to the high cost of daycare for 4 children. We are trying everything and this christmas is looking really down for my children. All I want is to provide them with something this christmas but with bills and such its kind of impossible! So I am reaching out to anyone who is willing to help as well as anything that could be given to help. If anyone out their will be a blessing to my children this christmas it will be greatly appreciatef and you would be a blessing to our family! Thank you in advance! Happy Holidays!
