Food Help
There are families that need help with food this holiday. While most families are looking to be adopted this Christmas, some families are simply looking for food. We were informed of a few families that did not have anything to eat for Thanksgiving but tomato soup and some bread. They are not asking for much, just some food to get by so their children will not go hungry such as bread, canned vegetables. etc. Some parents have to go without food many meals so that their kids can eat. Some families are lucky enough to live near food pantries and they get help once or a few times a month. However, some do not live near food pantries and they do not have transportation to get to one. Also, some food pantries only serve residents of certain zip codes. There are some food pantries and soup kitchens that are open to all but their food usually run out quickly. If you need help with food, post here so that people near you can see and may be able to help. Some people can help with gift cards to grocery stores. If you can help any of the families posted below with food, please contact them directly. Every little bit helps when it comes to food and groceries.

Happy Holidays to all!! My name is Crystaleigh I am a 31 year old mother and wife of a wonderful family of a 5 year old little boy Kayden and a 7 year old princess. We live in western mass area very close to the Connecticut border. To give you a little background about our family am 4 years into remission of cancer and suffer from fibromyalgia
. Because of my health situation I unfortunately live off disability. But please do think I am lazy I volunteer when ever my health permits at my children’s schools, girl scouts, and am on the school improvement council. My husband is a full time student and works as much as possible for 10.00 an hour as a line cook. He trys so hard it breaks my heart to see him so upset that he can not do more but I know that soon once he gets his BA degree in 2 years we finically much more secure, in our own house and be hopefully able to help another family like us. My beautiful daughter also suffers from severe Asthma I am not talking about a kid who uses an inhaler once a week but a little girl who is hospitalized at least five times a year get pneumonia at least 2 a winter and is scarred to play because of fear of not being able to breathe. Her lungs never fully devolved due to her being a preemie. But through all of this she is always smiling laughing ( although sadly that sometimes causes her an attack) but she is a great student and loves fashion, arts, and crafts. My Little Superhero is my 5 year old Kayden who thank the gods is happy and healthy he is the family ambassador as he try’s to say something kind to everyone and is always telling someone how nice pretty or great they are. So I from him I numerously been told I am the “best Mommy ever”. I really want to be but as it stands right now our family will be lucky to give him a action figure from “Santa” and my daughter a box of pastels she wants. I am not one to ask for anything but fuel assistance only gave $200 this year which is not even one month of heating and us living off 1700 a month total and our rent being 850 with no utility’s as you can see dos not leave any room for anything. My daughter desperately needs a warm jacket. I am very embarrassed to even ask but if anyone, family or group could help us we would be so appreciative. If you would like to speak with me more or can help or would like proof of any of this please email me at Crystaleighs@gmail.com or call me 413-650-0147.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a great Holiday.
Crystaleigh

I need help as quickly as possible. I have a 7yr old daughter and 2yr old niece living with me. We’ve basically run out of food. We only need enough to last us 2 week. Things like bread, milk, butter, and fresh/frozen meats. My girls also eat things like canned ravioli and spaghetti-os. Thank-you and God bless anyone that can help.
