Help to Avoid Eviction

Author: Lots of people are in need of some assistance this holiday season. It's early to be thinking about Christmas for some people but for others it's almost too late. We talked to a few families last week who are in desperate need of some assistance. They all have reached out to as many organizations in their local areas as they possibly can. They are looking for any resources and assistance that can help them. Some families are in danger of being evicted. Many have already received eviction notices and shut off notices. Some landlords are nice enough to continue to work with them. Some people are able to come up with payment plans but others are not so lucky. Lots of people have been late on their rents and their landlords simply cannot wait forever. Some churches have helped and provide food for families but rent assistance is harder to come by. Even in their situations, these families feel like there are families that are far worse off than them and they are still hopeful that they will find help.

We are in need bad of help with our rent it is due saturday and we have no way of coming up with the money. We would really love it if someone could help us so we dont get kicked out of our house, we have 7 children ranging from 11 to 4.
I am a cancer, Crohn’s, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and liver disease survivor (so far) with four children (# girls 17, 16, and 9, and one son 18)living in the home. I live on a small disability check every month and I am only able to either pay the rent or the light bill, which has been extremely difficult. My children have been lookingf for jobs, but the economy is so bad they have not been able to obtain a job. I have not been able to pay my Nov. rent and I will not be able to pay my December rent because I must pay the light bill. My children will have no Christmas, if I cannot find someone to adopt our family. My children go without so much all year long, even without the most basic necessities, such as toilet paper, feminine products,clothing,cleaning supplies, and much more, including food. Soon we will be homeless too. What makes my children so special, is that they take care of me with a smile on their face and their heads held high, and with so much love. They have gone through so much, they have gone without so much much, but yet they persevere through it all happy, loving, and giving selflessly. These children deserve Christmas because of who they are inside. They deserve so much that I have not been able to give them for the last 3 years. Please someone find it in your heart to give my children a Christmas that I cannot provide, which is so embarrasssing and humiliating for me to say. I feel like a total failure. However, I am in college getting a bachlors degree in criminal justice with the hope that I will go into remission and I will be able to go back to work someday! I am proud of that because I will be able to give my children all the things they go without. Hi, Bradley I’m writing you because of a situation that has my family and myself in need of someone’s help . I’m 37 family of four my oldest boy is In college 18 marco my youngest boy 14 xavier in high school my youngest of all 12 her name is angel we live on a limited income cal works I’ve got a serious situation that could leave us home less I’ve got until December 12 ,2012 to get 479.00 dollars for rent i have 320 dollars and still need 159.00 dollars if there’s any family that could help us please there going to had it over to an attorney if i dont pay it in full i need help please if there’s any one help me i have no one that could help me so I’ve been looking around i live at 1213 d street #23 Sacramento.
