Help with Food for Christmas

Author: Do you need help with food for Christmas? A lot of families that need help with Christmas need help with food, among other things. Most parents who struggle to provide Christmas for their children spend all of their hard earned money on bills to keep their families from being evicted, foreclosed on, keep the lights on, etc.... There is usually nothing left for better than normal meals for Christmas. That's why it's nice to be able to get some help with food for Christmas. You can find help with food at local churches or organizations with Christmas Assistance programs. Some organizations give out food gift cards to local grocery stores, some give out boxes of food for Christmas.
If you are adopted for Christmas, then you usually will get food gift cards that you can use in grocery stores near you. Some people give gift cards to Walmart and let the family decide what to get for Christmas dinner. The amount on a food gift card can range from $10 per person ($20 if there are two people in the family, and so on) to $50 or $100 for the whole family. Let us know early on if you will need help with food for Christmas or if you can help families in need with food gift cards. It does not matter how much is in a food gift card. A family can receive more than one gift card especially if there are many people in the family.

We r askn for help for the Christmas season! My husband is not working due to our youngest daughter who has was diagnosed with autistim at the begining of the year! I work full time to support a family of five! We r a very close family and have 3 amazing young kids that have gone without so much this year and has never complained! They understand that getting gifts is not the whole meaning of Christmas but what do u say when u have no food to feed them! Please help out a family that is well deserving of any help and would be forever greatful for any help at this point! Thanks for helping families like mine in need

I am a cancer, Crohn’s, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and liver disease survivor (so far) with four children (# girls 17, 16, and 9, and one son 18)living in the home. I live on a small disability check every month and I am only able to either pay the rent or the light bill, which has been extremely difficult. My children have been lookingf for jobs, but the economy is so bad they have not been able to obtain a job. I have not been able to pay my Nov. rent and I will not be able to pay my December rent because I must pay the light bill. My children will have no Christmas, if I cannot find someone to adopt our family. My children go without so much all year long, even without the most basic necessities, such as toilet paper, feminine products,clothing,cleaning supplies, and much more, including food. Soon we will be homeless too. What makes my children so special, is that they take care of me with a smile on their face and their heads held high, and with so much love. They have gone through so much, they have gone without so much much, but yet they persevere through it all happy, loving, and giving selflessly. These children deserve Christmas because of who they are inside. They deserve so much that I have not been able to give them for the last 3 years. Please someone find it in your heart to give my children a Christmas that I cannot provide, which is so embarrasssing and humiliating for me to say. I feel like a total failure. However, I am in college getting a bachlors degree in criminal justice with the hope that I will go into remission and I will be able to go back to work someday! I am proud of that because I will be able to give my children all the things they go without.
