How to Sponsor a Family for Christmas

Author: If you want to know how to sponsor a family for Christmas then you are probably in a position to help someone, a child or a family. That's great news. Anyone can sponsor a family for Christmas. You do not have to be rich and you do not have to have a lot of money. Most people do not. Most sponsors just have a bit of money to spare or they could be savvy shoppers and found deals and want to give those items away as gifts to families in need. If you are considering sponsoring a family for Christmas, you can either apply to become a sponsor at an organization such as the Salvation Army or local nonprofits or you can find people in need online and write to them offering to sponsor them. Many people are not accepted into the Adopt a Family for Christmas programs and would come online to ask for help. You can email them back with questions and specifics. Through emails and phone calls, you can offer to sponsor a family for Christmas. You can choose the family you want to sponsor based on the size of the family or your preferences. You can learn all about what the family needs, who the kids are, what they need etc. Some sponsors prefer to sponsor a family locally. There will be local families that need help and you can even meet with them before you offer to sponsor them.

My siblings and I are interested in sponsoring a family for Christmas. We will donate about $250 dollars to a family need. No preference on the type of family, just want to help make someone’s Christmas special. I can do shopping based on their needs or provide a gift card, whatever is the family’s preference.

Hi I am a single mother of three kids ages 5 yrs GIrl and 9 yrs Boy and 12 yrs boy, I am unable to provide a Christmas this year, I am behind on everything Rent, 2 months behind at $500.00 a month I owe the landlord $1000.00 and am fixing to be kick out she has waited to long as it is and I am thank ful she is trying to give me time, I am just in a bad place and need help with everything! I live in Espanola, New MExico and there is no help here for us! I am not going to post a wish list and everything right away, i’ll do that if someone desides to help us and we’ll talk about that!

my family is in need of being adopted i cant work due to my oldest sons health issues he has epilepsy adhd a sleeping disorder. he is always going to the doctor for his epilepsy so that uses all of our money. I have a son dakota who is 10 a son levi who is 7 a daughter kylie who is 6 and a son blake who is 4. my husband works but he barley makes enough to pay the bills, we are not going to be able to pay our rent this month the way it is and our children are not going to have a christmas if we cant get some help for them. thank you and god bless you please feel free to email me at awiemelt@yahoo.com

My name is April. I am a single Mother of 3. Michael 15, Mackenzie 10 and Madison is 16 mos old. I am looking for someone to adopt my family for Christmas. We live in Eagan, MN. After battling breast cancer earlier this year and dealing with a high amount of stress due to being homeless and staying the 4 of us in 1 room at a friends house while we try to move out to AZ where I have family, I am also being monitored for stroke symptoms because I have a history of strokes. I had 2 in Nov of 06. My kids have had a rough year and I want to try and make this a decent Holiday for them after the past few years of hardship and no end in close sight. I am on disability and barely making it. I would hate for my kids to be forced to watch my friends kids on Christmas morning opening up gifts and they would have nothing.

Happy Holidays to all!! My name is Crystaleigh I am a 31 year old mother and wife of a wonderful family of a 5 year old little boy Kayden and a 7 year old princess. We live in western mass area very close to the Connecticut border. To give you a little background about our family am 4 years into remission of cancer and suffer from fibromyalgia
. Because of my health situation I unfortunately live off disability. But please do think I am lazy I volunteer when ever my health permits at my children’s schools, girl scouts, and am on the school improvement council. My husband is a full time student and works as much as possible for 10.00 an hour as a line cook. He trys so hard it breaks my heart to see him so upset that he can not do more but I know that soon once he gets his BA degree in 2 years we finically much more secure, in our own house and be hopefully able to help another family like us. My beautiful daughter also suffers from severe Asthma I am not talking about a kid who uses an inhaler once a week but a little girl who is hospitalized at least five times a year get pneumonia at least 2 a winter and is scarred to play because of fear of not being able to breathe. Her lungs never fully devolved due to her being a preemie. But through all of this she is always smiling laughing ( although sadly that sometimes causes her an attack) but she is a great student and loves fashion, arts, and crafts. My Little Superhero is my 5 year old Kayden who thank the gods is happy and healthy he is the family ambassador as he try’s to say something kind to everyone and is always telling someone how nice pretty or great they are. So I from him I numerously been told I am the “best Mommy ever”. I really want to be but as it stands right now our family will be lucky to give him a action figure from “Santa” and my daughter a box of pastels she wants. I am not one to ask for anything but fuel assistance only gave $200 this year which is not even one month of heating and us living off 1700 a month total and our rent being 850 with no utility’s as you can see dos not leave any room for anything. My daughter desperately needs a warm jacket. We are not picky will eHappy Holidays to all!!
