Sponsoring a Family for Christmas
Do you have the means to sponsor a family for Christmas? Sponsoring a family for Christmas is gratifying. By sponsoring a family or a child for Christmas, you have the opportunity to bring Christmas to a family that would have to go without Christmas this year. Christmas is a joyful time of year but it won't be for many families that cannot afford it unless they get help. Some get help by getting adopted for Christmas. The Adopt a Family programs are created to help families in need of Christmas assistance. It does not take much to sponsor a family but you do have to have some money that you can part with in order to sponsor a family or a child. Different Adopt a Family programs require different things from sponsors. You can sponsor a family by yourself without going through an organization such as the Salvation Army if you prefer. Lots of people prefer to sponsor a family on their own so that they can be more connected to the families. Many sponsors want to get to their the families they are sponsoring. Sponsoring a family for Christmas through an organization will not allow you to get to know the families you are adopting.
I was trying to adopt the single mother with the 4 yr old son, but we’re having trouble connecting with anyone who can provide us the information. My family and i would love to sponsor a Chicago area family (specifically one with small children). My wife is interested in a family with a single mother.
Hi. I was wondering if you are still looking to sponsor a family for Christmas. My name is Rose, and I am a single mother with 2 children. My daughter is 4 and my son is 5. I have been out of work for awhile battling health issues that have went misdiagnosed until last week. Now thay are saying I have a thyroid problem, and that I have “suspicious nodules” on my thyroid. I have to go in for a biosy next week to see if it is cancer. i dont know when I will be able to work again as I have been extremely exhausted and ill. The only money that keeps us a lift, is child support which barely pays rent, and leaves nothing else. At this point I dont even have the funds to get the stuff to make a traditional Christmas dinner. I am in need of some help if you are still looking to help someone. this is extremely late notice so I dont expect to hear back but if I do it would be a miracle. Even just a gift card to target or walmart so we could buy a turkey would be wonderful! Anything would help. Thanks you and Happy holidays. You can email me at rose.glass@rocketmail
